"This research focused on gaining a better understanding of the science, technology and innovation (STI) research-policy nexus, based on the perception of this nexus by researchers and policymakers (PM), and to draw tentative conclusions and policy recommendations. Thus, in terms of knowledge production and knowledge use, the study points at answering the following questions: How could PM make a better use of all that SSH research has to offer, from an innovation perspective? How could SSH researchers be more engaged in the development of public policies for innovation? What are the challenges of bringing both sides together with a view to matching innovation policies and the countries’ development needs?"
